Welcome to Nintendo's latest and freshest multiplayer game! Is dedicated to anything and everything revolving around Splatoon! Inklings, Octolings and all other things welcome! All the rollers feel like hot garbage to me - except the Carbon Roller, which I really like. What am I doing wrong?Specifically: if I try to ink with the Splat Roller it feels like a much worse Aerospray. If I try to splat with the Splat Roller it feels like a much worse Octobrush.

It's slower at both inking and attacking than the Carbon Roller, has worse ink consumption, and as far as I can tell its vertical attack does the same damage as the Carbon Roller's at the ranges I use it in while also coming out much slower. From my point of view, Rollers are not for inking but for killing and support.Basically you need to be super sneaky and attack mostly from behind enemies backs. Make great use of the vertical flick. At least 80% of you kills should come from flicks and the rest because you roll over someone that was swimming in your direction or didn't notice you.Ninja Squid can help you be sneaky but you can do well even without it because not everyone likes the reduced swim speed.About inking turf, you will never be at the level of an Aerospray but the wide area the Roller can cover when rolling is actually pretty good, especially if you need to quickly clean an area the enemy inked before dying.

The Roller is also good at making those sweet wide paths your teammates can use to run away. Sometimes I even jump from a blotch of ink to another so just focus on having the safe routes covered before anything else. Before all that though, focus on killing. When I use the Roller in Turf War I'm usually the one with the most kills (unless there's someone exceptionally skilled or someone with a Trislosher) so killing should be your first priority, even before inking (I know it sounds crazy but it works!). I only use the Splat Roller though. I used the Carbon too and while I find it decent, the reduced kill potential to make space for more speed just doesn't feel good enough (it's my own thought though, other people may use it wonderfully. I just like to have slightly more OHKO range for horizontal shot and the instant kill when I roll over someone is hard to give up too). Ultimate fishing simulator free download.

Imprevedibility and reflexes are the key to everything. Know when to flick and when it's time to run! Outsmart your enemies at all costs or you won't get any kills with the Roller. I like using swim speed up so I can quickly swim around the edges of our turf, flanking and splatting those unaware.-When in close range, you can flick then jump to do a jumping horizontal swing instead of a vertical one.-Based off my small experience, I feel rollers are better in ranked than they are in turf war. Everyone is in one area so it is a lot easier to flank and get one-hit flanks. Not to mention the Squid Beakons' potential for jumping behind your opponents.Note: You accelerate a bit while rolling.
