I've always thought it was more urban myth, perhaps even an invention of this forum. Seems a couple of years ago people here started to post that 'if you intend to stand out there all day you might want to wear Depends.' And from there I think it morphed into a 'fact' that people are actually doing it.Consider this: If you've ever cared for someone wearing adult diapers, or even worn them yourself, would it be something you'd be comfortable wearing for hours after they've become wet?? In freezing cold weather?

I did read an interview with a reveller from this year who apparently was wearing depends/tena pants/nappies whatever you want to call them. Personally having spent 12 1/2 hrs in a pen in very close proximity with lots of other people, not once did anyone mention them (not really great conversation though is it 'oh yes I've got my diaper on') Like I said in my other post, the guys were peeing in bottles etc, and from what I understand the girls were holding on. I was confident that the peeing issue wouldn't be a problem for me, and it wasn't, but if I wasn't so confident maybe I would have resorted to wearing incontinence pads of some description. I really don't see what the problem or fascination is. If you want to experience at New Year's Eve and be anywhere close to the action there WILL be consequences, be it having to wear a diaper, suffering extreme cold, standing all that time or getting hungry. From the whole 12 1/2 hrs my ONLY problem was the cold.
