That sanctuary was called the Nightgate Inn and it was located off the main road in a remote region of the land of Skyrim, home of the hardy and war-like Nord people. Given the inn's location and isolation, it wasn't getting much business, just enough to remain open from the odd traveler or merchant on the roads.

The inn was located close to the Dwemer ruin of Alftand as well as the Nordic ruins of Silverdrift Lair, Ironbind Barrow and Korvanjund.which meant that very few people had any reason to even travel the road, much less stop by for the night.The figure was short, which meant it could only have been a female Breton or a Wood Elf.or Bosmer as they are more often called. Despite the howling wind, she seemed to feel no coldness as she wasn't bundling her hands around her chest to keep warm. This could only mean that her clothes were specifically magically enchanted to ward off Frost Magic.and the icy weather outside. The figure's feet made no noise as they reached the sturdy stairs and wooden porch, the black boots probably having a muffling and fortify sneak enchantments.She entered the inn and made her way to the counter, removing her ornately embroidered black mourning hood and revealing her blonde hair, like honey or liquid gold, her lips painted blood red, her cheeks glowing with vitality and health. Her eyebrows were perfectly plucked and arched, her brandy-coloured eyes delineated clearly by black eyeliner and amethyst purple eyeshadow. She wore earrings made of the finest gold and glowing with magical enchantments, as did her enormous Ebony greatsword/claymore which glowed both fire and blood red, meaning it had both fire damage and vampiric life-absorption enchantments.
